ooc: so instead of doing replies, i watched true love (mini-series) and in the episode ‘holly’, billie piper plays holly, who’s an english teacher. yes i approve.
and tennant was in the first episode and damn i hate his character kinda a bit sorta.
Rose took a look at the small house and smiled. It was cute and the threat of it toppling over just added to the adventure. “Perfect.” She said with a small smile. Once the reached the sidewalk right out front, Rose walked a little a head before turning back around. “Well, uh, thanks for showing me where it was. See ya around, yeah?”
He nodded. “Yeah, no problem,” he said, and waved half-heartedly. If there was anything John hated, it was goodbyes - even small ones like these. Better get back to read about all of those things, he thought to himself, and turned around to walk back, with his hands deep in his pockets.
If only you knew before we got separated. She thought. Well, guess it’s a bit of my fault too for not tellin’ ‘im sooner. “Oh.” She said out loud with a slight giggle.
John only shot her a crooked smile in response, and dug his hands deeper into his pockets. He could see the small, homemade sign now. The green house, which looked like it would topple over if it wasn’t for the other houses on each of its sides, was owned by a friend of John’s colleague, Debra Moore. The B&B had come up in a conversation some days before, and he was actually proud to have remembered it. “Ah, there we have it!” he said enthusiastically, and pointed. “A colleague of mine knows the owner. She says it’s nice and not very expensive.”
“You smiled like you had just won something when I told you I love him, is all…”
“Well, I did. I mean, it’s good to know I can still recognize the look of the smitten,” he explained.
Rose looked at him curiously. Why was he grinning like that? “Uh, thanks.” Rose replied as she was still trying to figure out the reason behind his smile.
"What?" he asked, suddenly confused with how she was staring at him. "Have I got something in my face?"
“Can you tell me where I am?”
"Good ol’ London. How could you miss all the tourist busses?"
